My Goal
Make you connect with my photos.
As a photographer, it’s always my goal to capture a specific moment in my subjects life. Some people sit there and fire off a million shots, hoping for a good one. I feel its more important to patiently wait, studying the light and how it’s reacting, and ultimately learning which moments are the ones worth capturing. When you capture those moments something special happens. It takes you back to a guitar solo, or a friend you were with and haven’t seen in a while. It rings a certain unexplainable truth that can only be described in the photo.
Who is this MO/PHO?
The question on everybody’s mind…
I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. A city known for its incredible influence on music. From the early sounds of Motown and jazz, to the bass bumping birth of techno, Detroit has always been viewed as a pioneer in the world of music. My goal, like many Detroiters before me, is to make my own impact on the music scene. I plan on doing it with photographs. I love documenting music. Each live show or portrait should tell a story, spark a memory, or inspire a fellow artist. I hope my photos do that for you.
I currently live and work out of Chicago.
